Oopsy!!

Oh my, looks like some Inconvenient Data might get in the way of "settled science".

These 3,000 yellow sentinels -- about the size and shape of a large fencepost -- free-float the world's oceans, season in and season out, surfacing between 30 and 40 times a year, disgorging their findings, then submerging again for another fact-finding voyage. [...]

When they were first deployed in 2003, the Argos were hailed for their ability to collect information on ocean conditions more precisely, at more places and greater depths and in more conditions than ever before.

No longer would scientists have to rely on measurements mostly at the surface from older scientific buoys or inconsistent shipboard monitors.

So why are some scientists now beginning to question the buoys' findings? Because in five years the little blighters have failed to detect any global warming. They are not reinforcing the scientific orthodoxy of the day, namely that man is causing the planet to warm dangerously. They are not proving the predetermined conclusions of their human masters. Therefore they, and not their masters' hypotheses, must be wrong.

In fact, "there has been a very slight cooling," according to a U.S. National Public Radio (NPR) interview with Josh Willis at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, a scientist who keeps close watch on the Argo findings.

Real scientists are not afraid of data, even if such data means scrapping old models and theories and building anew.

But Anthropogenic Global Warming Climate Change has never been solely (or even primarily) about the science. It is about a political power grab; an excuse to institute a statist, anti-free market and anti-individual rights political structure that micro-manages people's lives and choices.

The Goracle will, no doubt, be soon be denouncing this 3,000 bouys as a right-wing, running dog capitalist, neoconzionist conspiracy keeping him from being Climate Emperor.

This just in: wingnuts don't understand the difference between long-term and short-term.

Poor boy, project much?

Oooh, projection! Haven't seen that about a million times in a million places. Pro-tip: "I know you are but what am I" isn't any less childish when you call it "projection."

Love the cooling line. The data point outside of and inconsistent with satellite data, ice flow data, and the fact that here in Indiana the Almanac says I can't plant before Mothers' Day, yet the real last frost has been prior to April 20th for the past decade. Must be a huge level of coincidences to prove the buoys right. There's as much chance at that happening, as Ms. Click and the Catholic Avenger, aka Collins, being right.

I can't believe he made it through Obama speaking at Notre Dame...I thought sure all his hypocritical self-righteousness would have exploded his soul.

Then again, I guess if claiming to be a child of God while pimping for the white supremacist who is Stacy McCain and the angry Mssr. Goldstein has caused him to implode, nothing will.
