Darleen, I read the piece and Purdom's piece is well-sourced and not a "hit piece."

What policy thing has this woman EVER done which attracts you so much? I get that you like her identity politics angle and you like the pro-life thing and you like that she acted like she loathed Obama, but what has she done? Admitted to not reading newspapers, telling Gwen Ifill she wouldn't answer her questions? Palin has no ideas and no policy knowledge and many Republicans seem to know this.

She needed to go back to Alaska and learn policy stuff. I cannot stand her stated political goals (no abortion even when she admitted considering one and not even exceptions for rape and incest), but she is clearly an intuitive politician. If she learned to answer questions with policy ideas, even minimal one, she could be have Reagan's success. She has that gift, but she squanders it, and you blindly follow her. She signs emails in God's name for goodness sake

Is it any wonder Ziegler has been canned 50 times? His interview was terrible. Allen cannot speak, because he continually gets interrupted as he's trying to make a point.

Ziegler is a circus act and his glomming on to Palin is stalkerish and creepy.

Palin has no ideas and no policy knowledge

You are right, no ideas and no policy...

Did centrist find you. he said he was going to look for you. He'll be so happy you're back.

Oh, and ML, all she did was comment on the news and state what she was against and she continued to pimp for God's pipeline. She didn't mention getting smacked by the Alaska state legislature after she said she'd take no stimulus and then took 97% of it. All in all, if that's your threshold for having ideas, then it at least explains where your opinions come from.

Policy is what one is for, where the govt is going, what are society's needs and how could help meet them. She needs to hole up with some advisers, hash some out, and then emerge in 2011 as a formidable candidate. Since I think she's a creationist, know nothing, theocon, god botherer, corporate apologist, I commend her for ignoring that advice. Without it doing that, she'll never convince the old money to back her in the primary and she'll evaporate in Thompson-esque fashion.

Good to see the wingnut fringe still insisting on hanging the Palin albatross around its neck. It's gonna be great in 2012 seeing the sane remnant of the GOP try to nominate someone electable in the face of the Palin cult.

Here's Ziegler acting like a total creep on some dating show. Dude has serious issues with women.

Yeah, that show pretty much perfectly encapsulates the kind of person Dar hangs her hat on? Can you imagine? I wouldn't buy insurance from that dolt.

I read Darleen’s place all the time. Just because I don’t post doesn’t mean I don’t read.

I told you that you are right, Palin has now ideas or policy!

Even Charlie Cabbagemallet realizes Palin's a joke.

She had to go home and study and spend a lot of time on issues in which she was not adept last year, and she hasn't. She has to stop speaking in clichés and platitudes.

Ouch. Guess now it's time for the wingnut lynch mob to go after Charlie.

Ahahahaha. Oh man, I hope she's doing this to focus on a 2012 run and not because something bad happened to her family. Her idiocy has already cost her family enough.

Posted by: Josh at July 3, 2009 03:41 PM

Kinda strange that the Zero’s family doesn’t have to pay for his idioticness, now that is a good thing, its just too bad that so called “liberals” don’t have the same values.

Palin really scares them liberals mad.
I guess commonsense and being nice looking are the liberals greatest fear factor.

Er, ML, did you hear your crush is going to resign her governorship? Yeah, we're super-scared. Please, ML, I'm begging you, do everything you can to make sure she runs for Prez.
