Adventures in narcissism

What kind of cranks are "offended" by public displays of birthday celebrations?

Oh, the academic betters kind.

CHAPEL HILL For as long as anyone can remember, Christmas trees adorned with lights and ornaments have greeted holiday season visitors to UNC Chapel Hill's two main libraries.

Not this year.

The trees, which have stood in the lobby areas of Wilson and Davis libraries each December, were kept in storage this year at the behest of Sarah Michalak, the associate provost for university libraries.

Michalak's decision followed several years of queries and complaints from library employees and patrons bothered by the Christian display, Michalak said this week.

If these cranks aren't loudly complaining in restaurants about being offended by the birthday cake on the next table, we can safely chalk this up to another lesson in Cultural Tolerance(tm) by Judea-Christophobic Leftists.

It’s the height of irony that we call them “liberals”.

Posted by: ML at December 6, 2008 10:49 AM

They hate Christians, you hate Muslims. You guys have more in common than you think.

Posted by: Josh E. at December 6, 2008 11:19 AM

I hate Moslems?
can anyone of you liberals ever make a non-strawman argument?

I didn’t think so.

Posted by: ML at December 6, 2008 12:01 PM

Josh E.

In non-looney liberal land being a place you have never been, you need to provide a quote from me (evidence) that shows I hate Moslems, not just spewing and projecting your own person bile as if it is worth something.

That is what makes you an unintellectual adolescent, like timb.

It would be pretty comical though if it wasn’t such a sad state of affairs with you and your elk.

In Josh’s looney liberal world all are guilty until they prove themselves innocent, it’s the illiberal anti-American way.

Now there is an accusation that actually sticks because the proof is right here in your own words (evidence).

Posted by: ML at December 6, 2008 01:04 PM

I wasn't talking to you, ML, you foolish repeater of empty cant. Here's one of Darleen's friends, you know, your "elk", showing that tolerance that wingnuts are famous for.

Maybe when you guys tone down the hate and feigned outrage you'll start winning elections.

Posted by: Josh at December 6, 2008 01:30 PM

Josh or Josh E. Whichever or whomever you are.

Perhaps you should address your comment then their will not be confusion, not that it matters its still your typical strawman liberal bunkum.

They did teach you how to address someone in school when you got that BA, didn’t they?
Or was that all BS about you having a BA?

I am sorry, I didn’t realize you were forced to comment here, I wrongly assumed you did it out of your own free will.

Yes all this hate and outrage, who can stand it?
Now I understand why we call you and your elk looney liberals.

Posted by: ML at December 6, 2008 02:12 PM

Sorry for the spelling errors.

Perhaps you should address your comment then there will not be confusion, not that it matters its still your typical strawman liberal bunkum.

Posted by: ML at December 6, 2008 02:14 PM

Do you have anything to say about religious tolerance and church/state matters, or is this string of stupid ad hom the best you can come up with? Why do moose of your elk have such difficulty staying on topic?

Posted by: Josh at December 8, 2008 07:00 AM

Religious tolerance in America is all things Christian are to be hated with a passion and are under attacked with screams of separation of church and state.

But when the Empire State Building wants to celebrate Ramadan all the crazy liberals support it screaming about religious tolerance as long as its not of a Christian in nature.

Schools can teach about Islam and even have the kids take the Islamic oath, but heaven forbid they teach about Judaism or Christianity.

It’s that ACLU hypocritical liberal double standard that people detest.

Posted by: ML at December 8, 2008 10:12 AM

Right. That's why you see all those churches being shut down and Presidential candidates kissing Rick Warren's ring. Because Christians are so oppressed. That's quite a persecution complex you've got there. Schools teach about Christianity all the time. Did you drop out after 8th grade or something?

P.S. Nobody much cares about the Empire State Building thing except crazed anti-Muslim lunatics.

Posted by: Josh at December 9, 2008 07:58 AM

I didn’t say anything about churches being shut down nor did I bring up Ramadan at the Empire State building, only you did.

So should we be surprised that this anti-Moslem lunatic with my persecution complex is just more straw-men arguments from you?

It’s a rhetorical question.

P.S.
So you must be a crazed anti-Moslem lunatic, seeing as you keep bring the subject up!

Posted by: ML at December 10, 2008 08:44 AM

I'm glad I'm a member of the ACLU. It reminds me how people like ML think they possess "revealed truth" because of an apocryphal book and why I celebrate the freedom, guaranteed by the Bill of Rights, to ignore them.

Nonetheless, Josh, we have plenty of company in being damned by ML. The man fears for his own family for not following his path:

Now I am saddened when I reflect on my many family members and friends either being Jewish or atheist that I love and wonder if they will be in heaven.

The good news being that decision is not mine, I can only judge by outward appearance while God judges the heart so a certain percentage of the people I think are going to heaven are not and a certain percentage I think are not, are.

I guess we know from this thread that ML has rejected Islam and can play the role of God when it comes to Muslims!

Sadly, as we've shown, ML doesn't even know much about the origins of his faith (the myth of Abraham and Noah and the Exodus and Jericho, et. al.), so expecting him to know anything of his sister religion is tragic.

Here's a primer, ML: the God of the Koran/Quran is the same as yours. They are called "Muslims" (one who submits to God). You are not Edward Gibbon or Mark Twain, so stopping calling them "Moslems."

They consider your faith to be part of their tradition and their revelation to be the last God would give man. They consider your prophets to be theirs, including Jesus.

Of course, like almost anyone who thinks of it, Islam questions how Christians claim to be monotheists, since they worship three Gods (and one of the Gods even has a conversation with one of the other Gods and is called his Son....I mean, I like my son and all, but we don't even have the same Social Security numbers, let alone a cadre of rednecks who claim we're the same person! the Trinity is intellectual pretzeldom that is impossible to reconcile...one must call it faith, as it makes no sense).

In the end, Muslim fanatics, ML, fear Christianity as much as you fear Islam. All the world's three major religions feature beautiful lessons and stories (the Exodus is wonderful, the Sermon on the Mount speaks to the heart of any thinking person, and the Muslim Haj, figurative and literal, remains a beautiful journey), but telling the fundamentalists myth believers apart from each other requires some sort of program!

From ML's "they tried to practice Ramadan at the Empire State Building," to the kooky Palestinians raging about Sharon visiting the Dome of the Rock, to the crazy Jewish settlers complaining of the Dome of the Rock....just a bunch of people looking to divide us into believers of some fairy tale A on one side and fairy tale B on the other.

Maybe, ML, you should expand your understanding of "God" by studying Islam? You might find it interesting...I know I always did.

Posted by: timb at December 10, 2008 11:35 AM

Yikes, timb. Can you imagine what ML's family members have to put up with at Thanksgiving dinner? Nothing ruins the taste of stuffing like the preaching of ignorant kin.

Your points about religion are going to fall on deaf ears, sad to say. ML strikes me as more the Leviticus type than a student of the Gospels.

Posted by: Josh at December 10, 2008 12:41 PM

Oh, I can imagine, Josh, it's just like Christmas with my parents and missionary brother, except, of course, for the fact that my parents and brother are cool.

Josh, I hesitate to send you to Patterico, but the thread is pretty funny. "How many angels can dance on the head of the pin" funny. Otherwise, reasonable wingnuts all given license to explain why they are saved and how others could do it too.

Me? I grew up with a God who preferred people (like his "Son") who weren't so sure about Salvation.

Today's modern Christianity, bowing to the therapy talk, first tells them how saved they are, then asks them to donate, then asks them to proselytize, then asks them to listen to bad 80's rock (If Hell is real, I figure it's a 24/7 Michael W. Smith concert with Sean Hannity as MC), and the pastor finally mentions that, if they have the time, the greater community/world and how sinful and deserving of lectures they are.

This is what creates the obnoxious/self-assured types like ML and Darleen. Once one is convinced one is righteous, whomever disagrees is not only wrong, but spiritually deficient! See Darleen's latest b.s. about the gays at Protein Wisdom. Her absolute conviction that she is more moral and right in her quest to deny human rights to the "others" is a product of her supreme pride in her "Salvation."

As I've been trying to explain to ML, that pride is a difference in degree (not kind) from him to the suicide bombers or the bombing the King David Hotel.

I prefer my Christians to be like the monks who flagellated themselves back in the Reformation. First, it showed humility toward the ways their fables made being a an average human being impossible. Secondly, they were so convinced of their lack of righteousness, they tended to lecture less and judge others less. Thirdly, it gave them something to do.

Poor ML's family...the part that's Jewish suspects, as ML does, that ML's going straight to Hell for that pork chop and because he had the lights on last Saturday night and the atheist half is just wondering when someone will talk about something that makes sense.

I know that last part from my actual Thanksgiving meal where my fundamentalist Uncle discussed church politics and theology with my sister-in-law and brother. God bless them, I was so bored I almost fell asleep at the table.

Posted by: timb at December 10, 2008 02:06 PM

Thanksgiven at my house starts the night before the day, the whole family takes a bath whethers its thats time sof the weeks or nots and we alls cleans ours teeths which yous has to wears at the dinners tables no matters whats.

Then causes I loves mys family so’s much, well all dance around the dinner table withs rattles snakes over our headsis singing the praises and then we throws thems snakes at thems unsaveded onesis in the family so as to see that they become saveded or to see which onesis is really saveded, if the snakes bited yo and yo died, then yo wasn’t reallys saveded, yo was just playing, thats hows we noses the truth.

Me? I grew up with a God who preferred people (like his "Son") who weren't so sure about Salvation.

Its beyond ludicrous, but hey if you want to believe that delusional stuff that’s your problem,
I myself would not dare mock God and play Him for a fool.

Either you believe his word or you don’t, being whimsical about it is not a good attribute in most rational peoples minds.

Posted by: ML at December 10, 2008 10:15 PM

Are you afraid of that loving god, ML?

Afraid of one who loves you?

Afraid he might treat you like that nice Korean Christian gentleman in California whose family was destroyed when plane fell from the sky and killed his family? Afraid because he might treat you like he treated that guy's 15 year old daughter, immolated, by your god's plan.

I don't actually fear things which don't exist, ML, and I don't believe in omniscient sky fairies, but you can be afraid of the great paddle in the sky. If you say bad things about Him, ML, he might punish you like he did that nice Korean moonie? God might whack you?

Strange view of that Christian "loving God" of yours.

By the way, do you make the Jews and atheists handle snakes too, given your pity for them and condescending sense of their damnation? Do the snakes believe in mythical beings too?

Have you caught that Frontline yet or studied any secular books on Islam? Or, are you just a little ossified to learn anything?

Posted by: timb at December 11, 2008 07:08 AM

Timb

That’s a lot of projection you are doing there, how sad that you feel that way about a loving God, but to each his own, its nice having that freedom in America, of course that’s a freedom you and your elk would love to remove.

It really doesn’t surprise me, you don’t know jack shit about the Bible or the Qur’an or anything about Moslems or Mohammedans if you prefer.

Do not give that which is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine.......

Posted by: ML at December 11, 2008 07:56 AM

Already demonstrated multiple times I know more about the faith you supposedly follow and the one you clearly despise.

I will say this, at least you are small enough minded that you neither attempt to convert nor to proselytize. It's refreshing that you have as little interest in "saving" your fellow man as you do learning about your "faith." I suppose, it's better to sit around and feel good about your supposedly saved self, eh?

I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth

(Matthew 5:15): "Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick.

If you were one of the elect, ML, you'd be as despised as the Old Testament prophets for your truth telling and your inability to stop expressing yourself about the "good news." Your savior died for his beliefs, ML, and you spend your time denouncing non-believers to your particular brand of politics and religion on a blog post! Not exactly bravely spreading the faith, are you?

No, ML, you need to be a scourge of that family of yours:

For I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law;
and a man's foes will be those of his own household. He who loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; and he who loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me; (Matt. 10:35-37; Luke 12:51-53)

Wow, the only difference between the two of us is that I admit in word and deed that I do not believe, whereas you only admit it in deed!

No worries, the Bible is full of stories of Jesus and the Prophets loving hypocrites.

Granted you are the expert on Moslems the Bible and the Qur’an.

The Noble Qur’an
That they said (in boast), "We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah";- but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not:-

I see your point, clearly Moslems worship the same God as Christians.

Now if you understood that passage that spoke of dogs and swine you would then understand that dogs and swine are not worthy of being preached at, so I left you alone.

Posted by: ML at December 11, 2008 04:11 PM

More Qur’anic nonsense

Abraham was not a Jew nor yet a Christian; but he was true in Faith, and bowed his will to Allah's (Which is Islam), and he joined not gods with Allah.

Look, Abraham not a Jew and of course he couldn’t be a Christian, the Christ doesn’t come until a few thousand years after the fact.

Maybe it should be called the not so Noble Qur’an.

Posted by: ML at December 11, 2008 04:31 PM

You're a weird one ML. Is your strategy to win hearts for the Lord by pointing out strange phrasings in the Qu'ran? That's an odd strategy, especially since the Bible is riddled with errors.

First of all what this tinfoil-hat deceiver wants is not one of my concerns, dragging a quote from a different web site (Patterico) over to this web site is just fucking assclown looney, but it doesn’t surprise me, you cant expect liberals to not act like assclowns.

This deceiver makes a quite a few oxymoronic claims, the first one being : Moslems and Christians worship the same God, yet then openly despises the one God and praises the other, that is a bit bizarre.

Strange that someone who “claims” to support gay rights and I would suspect also women’s rights would align themselves with Mohammadanism where gays are killed and women get beaten and get the honor killing after being raped and thrown in jail and where the apostate also gets the death penalty. What a lovely group to conjoin with, you know its one thing to suspect this deceiver is amoral, anti-freedom, anti-American and another when they prove it outright.

Oxymoronic statement number 2: God prefers those who don’t trust His word?
That is beyond stupid on so many levels and a testament to the deceivers utter ignorance and overwhelming boastful pride.

Oxymoronic statement number 3: The assclown deceiver is openly hostile towards Christianity, then turns around and complains that nobody tried to proselytize them and on the strawman guise that I don’t care about my fellow man!

What a fucking mental case!

Now the deceiver poser will commence with kindergarten excuses, like “I wouldn’t have done that if you didn’t do this or that” or something else very adolescent and always deflecting any blame away from themselves.

Posted by: ML at December 12, 2008 05:36 AM

Yeah, ML, suggesting you learn about something about your own faith was an endorsement of Islam. You are rock sold stupid.

Learn it and understand it, knowledge is not belief. There is no god or gods, ML. Jesus was not divine. There is no "Holy Spirit." Gabriel never visited Mary or Muhammed and he neither dictated the Quran nor told Mary she was getting laid by god. There was no Exodus. There was no Creation. There was no trip by Muhammed to the site of the Dome of Rock which enabled him to ascend to heaven, speak with Jesus and Moses, or have an audience with god. There was no Odin or Zeus or Athena.

I can hardly be expected to converse with a believer in one set of myths who thinks knowing about Islam means you believe in the stupid things believers of that sect do (to demonstrate this by using the same point, as a Christian, you're telling me you approve of slavery, the Crusades, the Inquisition, Eric Rudolph blowing nightclubs and Tim McVeigh killing children). On second thought, you may have approved of the Crusades and Inquisition since they were directed at murdering Muslims.

ML, you are a profoundly silly and not terribly well-read person. I've wasted enough time trying to show you what a hypocritical and ignorant person you sound like from these posts. However, you refuse to read. For god's sake, how long did it take you to discover what you wrote on Patterico was being held up to ridicule here? Two days and four posts later, you finally read something on the thread?!?!

Frankly, as much as I like making fun of you, it gets old and I start to feel like a bully for making fun of the kid from the short bus. So, unless you have something more than calling me Satan up your sleeve, maybe you can just go to an exorcism?

Posted by: timb at December 12, 2008 07:24 AM

One last thing for you, written by Muslims,

Muslims believe that God revealed the Qur'an to Muhammad, God's final prophet, through the angel Gabriel, and regard the Qur'an and the Sunnah[6] (words and deeds of Muhammad) as the fundamental sources of Islam.[7] They do not regard Muhammad as the founder of a new religion, but as the restorer of the original monotheistic faith of Abraham[8], Moses, Jesus, and other prophets. Islamic tradition holds that Jews and Christians distorted the revelations God gave to these prophets by either altering the text, introducing a false interpretation, or both.

You should learn something, anything, about the people you hate. They worship the same god you and your Jewish friends do. They trace an ancestry back to Abraham. Common knowledge, but foreign to ML

Posted by: timb at December 12, 2008 07:27 AM

I don’t expect you to get it, its way beyond your very limited comprehension level.

Just because I don’t respond to 90% of your lying bullshit strawman moronic statements does not mean I didn’t read them it just means that I choose not to lay my pearls before swine like you.

Ironically in ridiculing my Patterico stalker comment you later contradict yourself, aside from the fact they you are a really bad liar and a complete mental case, it’s a good testament to what an imbecile you are.

So when I don’t reply to your strawman bullshit its because I choose not to lay my pearls before swine like you, its that simple.

Of course stalking people around the internet makes you feel like a legend in their own mind.

Posted by: ML at December 12, 2008 09:16 AM

Quoting someone's public words is stalking them? ML, you're like Benjamin Button, but instead of getting younger with the passage of time, you get dumber.

Well, I guess I will catch up to you in about 10 years then.

Posted by: ML at December 12, 2008 09:46 AM

No, finally getting your GED won't catch you up to me. Sorry.

Posted by: Josh at December 12, 2008 05:10 PM

Josh: kudos, that was kinda funny.

Posted by: ML at December 12, 2008 05:46 PM

Are you STILL claiming that the Muslims and Christians don't worship the same god? The Quaran was "dictated" to Mohammed by the Angel Gabriel, for odin'sake.

I'll wager my college classes, taught by Muslims, and my living with Muslims makes me a bit more of an expert on Islam than your hate does, ML.

Byh the way, your quoting the Quran is priceless. As I mentioned, of course, Muslims reject the divinity of Christ. They call him aprophet. Mohammed meets him on his journey to Heaven and speaks with him. But, Islam is a monotheistic religion, not polytheistic like Christianity. They worship just god/allah and don't imagine they are eating flesh every Sunday.

What you don't about Islam is, amazingly, greater than what you don't know about Christianity!

You know, ML, you're really just lost in time. You should have part of the First Crusade, where the conquerors of Jerusalem killed civilian Muslims and Jews until "the blood in the streets reached to the knees" of the mounted knights. You should have been around then, because your love of Holy Wars against the "moslems" and queers would have made you insanely popular.

Posted by: timb at December 14, 2008 03:07 PM

I guess the oldness wore off kinda quick!

Believe whatever crazy ass shit you want, it’s a free country.

Of course your mentality would have the Qur’an as infallible because it fits your asinine pigeonhole agenda.

Didn’t you once mention your wife was a Christian, I guess that just fits with the bizarre world you live in.

Posted by: ML at December 14, 2008 06:11 PM

Did those indoctrination courses ever even attempt to explain this?
005.090
YUSUFALI: O ye who believe! Intoxicants and gambling, (dedication of) stones, and (divination by) arrows, are an abomination,- of Satan's handwork: eschew such (abomination), that ye may prosper.
047.015
YUSUFALI: (Here is) a Parable of the Garden which the righteous are promised: in it are rivers of water incorruptible; rivers of milk of which the taste never changes; rivers of wine, a joy to those who drink; and rivers of honey pure and clear. In it there are for them all kinds of fruits; and Grace from their Lord. (Can those in such Bliss) be compared to such as shall dwell for ever in the Fire, and be given, to drink, boiling water, so that it cuts up their bowels (to pieces)?

So wine is considered Satan’s handiwork, yet river of Satan’s handiwork flow in “paradise”, I wonder how that got there?

Now I expect you to proclaim what all Moslems proclaim, “you cant understand the Qur’an if you don’t speak Arabic”, yet only 20% of all Moslem speak Arabic, so go figure how the other 80% are getting by. Beside the fact that any language can be interpreted into any other language, if it could not then communication with those people would be impossible today.

Did you also know that Mohammed being the prophet that never prophesied said the Qur’an is the word of God, just because he said so? No other proof needed, now that is really setting a high standard.

But don’t take my word for it, unlike Timb I don’t use the fallacy of authority argument, but then timb cant argue without using fallacies.

I expect people to discover the truth for themselves and think for themselves.

Posted by: ML at December 14, 2008 07:42 PM

Just to show how you lack any basic reasoning skills whatsoever.

First you claim Moslems and Christian worship the same God and you make that claim a multiple times.
Next you claim that Mohammadanism is monotheistic and Christianity is polytheistic.

So how can you conclude we worship the same God when Moslems worship 1- God while I worship 3 - Gods?

I see that college instilled some basic reasoning skills there, I sure am glad I stopped after high school, heaven knows I don’t want the lack of brain power you and Josh received in college.
Personally I would ask for a refund because what ever you guys paid for that “education”, you got ripped off big time.

Posted by: ML at December 14, 2008 10:24 PM

Uh, ML, I don't believe in the Quran any more than you do.

Unlike you, I don't hate those that do. Finally, I like wine every now and then and would just point out the drug problem in Karachi or Peshawar as examples of the failures of Quranic prohibition.

Fancy that, because I said Islam was not the most vile thing in the Universe, Mr. Manichean believes I'm a fundamentalist of the Quran.

Silly, ML. By the way, the prohibition against wine comes the Sunnah, not the Quran, although expecting you to know the difference is like expecting you to know about the two Creation stories in Genesis, the two opposing Flood stories, or the fact that the Gospels have differing accounts of jesus's last words, i.e. it means you would have to read something rather than rely on blind faith.

I sure wish Darleen would come back from PW, so I can make fun of her (although, I did it there too it's just more fun here).

Posted by: timb at December 16, 2008 10:16 AM

If you read the posts you'd understand.

Nonetheless, let's count: 1. God, 2. Jesus, 3. Holy spirit. 1+1+1 = 3. Nonetheless, you claim to worship the god of the jews, abraham's god, and so do the muslims. I cannot be faulted if Christian theology has made a mockery of monotheism. All I can tell you is what my Muslim friends and professors asked.

If one thinks about it intellectually (this is for Josh, obviously, because you cannot, ML), then it's obvious that Islam was quite persuasive. It was born into a Christian Mediterranean world (in which the strongest empire around was unabashedly theocratic) and it swept all before it from Spain to China to Indonesia to the Caucuses and converted millions of people. Some people converted because of taxes, some people converted because the route to power lay in conversion, but most were converted by the sheer power of the message. That's a pretty big chunk of Eurasia.

Want more? Sure, the Mongols were pagan and conquered Eurasia from Korea to Hungary and to Pakistan. Their empire finally stopped growing in Syria for goodness sakes. Their conquests brought these illiterate pagans into contact with Confucianism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. In China, Kublai Khan founded a Confucian dynasty (the Ming). In Central Asia, the successor kingdoms chose Buddhism and later converted to Islam and in Russia, home of the massive Orthodox Russian church, the Golden Horde chose Judaism and then Islam.

In the end, one would have to acknowledge, Islam must be more attractive to sky fairy worshipers than Christianity.

Too bad the Christians have all the stealth fighter, eh, ML. A good Colorado Springs boy can kill a Muslim from 50,000 feet, whereas a Muslim boy has to strap on a bomb and walk to where the Christians are.

I say, let's leave both tortured, silly philosophies in the dustbin of history and stop killing each other over stupid stuff.

Meanwhile, back to stupid stuff, maybe, ML, you can tell me how worshiping three gods makes you a monotheist?

Posted by: timb at December 16, 2008 10:18 AM

Uh, ML, I don't believe in the Quran any more than you do

Of course you do, you tout it around like it has authority that trumps everything else, so don’t kid yourself, either that or you are unreasonable and lack any comprehension ability whatsoever.

Unlike you, I don't hate those that do.

I don’t hate Moslems or gays, but you surely have a demented hatred for anything Jewish or Christian that is crystal clear.

Silly, ML. By the way, the prohibition against wine comes the Sunnah, not the Quran,

Yet those quotes are from the Qur’an, how can that be?
But yes it is quite silly of me to think that Moslems would derive their habits and practices from the Qur’an and Hadith. It must be my rock solid stupidity that causes me to think such silliness.
And you prove beyond any doubt you don’t have a clue what you’re talking about.

Too bad the Christians have all the stealth fighter, eh, ML. A good Colorado Springs boy can kill a Muslim from 50,000 feet, whereas a Muslim boy has to strap on a bomb and walk to where the Christians are.

Or those Moslems men can fly a few planes into buildings because we all know those buildings and planes only had Christians inside of them and we all know that you have to be a Christian to be in the military and live in America. And they can always blow a few Jews up or Hindus and of course those brave freedom fighting Moslems only kill unarmed noncombatant civilians being as they believe in the protection and superiority of their Allah not being they are fucking pussies or anything like that and you are the freedom fighting Moslem terrorist tool, you shill for their shit, that is beyond sick, I cant find a word or phase insulting enough to express how amoral I find you, but I will try.

Timb, you are one sick American hating, Jew hating, Christian hating, freedom hating amoral demented mental case with delusions of grandeur.

Maybe you should try using your head for something other then a plug for your asshole.

And as for the rest of your bullshit assclown strawman accusations and other innuendo,
I have explained a few times that you cant seem to grasp, I will not lay my pearls before swine, but at this point I hate to insult pigs.

You are a coward just like the amoral Islamic terrorist shit-heads you shill for, you never have a condescending tone toward Mohammadanism as you do against Jews and Christians, is that because even your dumb-fuckness knows that Moslems wouldn’t given a second thought to chopping your poor excuse for a head off with a semi-dull knife while you know Christians will not?

It’s a rhetorical question.

I say, let's leave both tortured, silly philosophies in the dustbin of history and stop killing each other over stupid stuff.

I guess that's what set you off, eh? Sure is offensive

I'm not entirely sure that Christians wouldn't either. After all, they have in the past and Christians kill people of different faiths every day in the world (as do Muslims).

For the last time, I see all religious people as superstitious folks. I prefer one no more than the other, and I live in a secular society where I have the freedom to not care what religious partisans think.

But, your spittle-flecked, invective-ridden responses seem to indicate that the difference between you and the muslims is a difference of degree and not kind. Fundamentalists are kooks and morons. You and Osama bin Laden....not so different. You both believe the silliness of thousand year old books and the sky fairy you both worship is just as imaginary.

Poor ML, can't stand that he believes an inconsisten myth and needs to yell about it. I feel sorry for your pain. Perhaps a nice separatist enclave in Idaho would be good for you?

PS Where did the bullshit about Jew-hating arise? Was that the cartoon in your head? You're the one who thinks they're all going to Hell, and your religion is the one who has been slaughtering them for centuries. Accusing me of it, when Judaism never figured in the discussion, seems weird.*

*Which is not to say that you're not generally weird, just that remark from your addled brain seemed especially weird.
