Pause ...
Thanksgiving dinner is still my mother's realm, husband and I put on Christmas dinner.
But dessert is still my Thanksgiving contribution. When the crowd is large, I get to do several and varied pies. Small crowd this year, so it is pumpkin pie and cheesecake.
I've made my grandmother's simple but outstanding cheesecake for some of my people at work and suddenly I'm making last night cheesecake for people at work to take to their Thanksgiving! It was a busy evening.
More baking tonight.
