The reveal: the Dems/MSM have no problems dismissing the Chicago machine/Ayers/ACORN ties to Barry Obama, but they are all in favor of creating a scandal by attempting to support a racist, child abuser in Tasergate. It appears that child abuse is ok to the Left as long as it's done against the child relative of a godbothering conservative. Holding non-Left views makes one "inauthentic" and any threat, abuse, or Bad Thing that happens to them is just oky-doky.

Dopey post. The scandal is about a government official using the weight of her position for personal reasons and then lying about it.

This story is about dismissing a state official who wouldn't do his job, which was dismissing a state trooper who drank on the job on multiple occasions, and who tasered his stepson.
If this asshat had tasered my nephew, I'd have stuck the thing up his ass and left it on.

That's odd, Chris, because Palin initially claimed that there was no pressure to fire Wooten. Was Palin lying when she said that or are you mischaracterizing her position?

Chris, there's this weird little thing known as LAWS in this country. The trooper had been investigated and disciplined within the laws of the state of Alaska and the employment practices of the public safety agency in the state. Palin's unethical behavior came YEARS after the fact, trying to ram through a family vendetta. She fired an innocent party because she couldn't have her way. This is evidence of bad character on her part. It should come out and looks like it will.
