Why does Obama hate our troops?

Or maybe it's just that Barry puts ambition before country,

WHILE campaigning in public for a speedy withdrawal of US troops from Iraq, Sen. Barack Obama has tried in private to persuade Iraqi leaders to delay an agreement on a draw-down of the American military presence.

According to Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari, Obama made his demand for delay a key theme of his discussions with Iraqi leaders in Baghdad in July.

"He asked why we were not prepared to delay an agreement until after the US elections and the formation of a new administration in Washington," Zebari said in an interview.

Obama insisted that Congress should be involved in negotiations on the status of US troops - and that it was in the interests of both sides not to have an agreement negotiated by the Bush administration in its "state of weakness and political confusion."

In the interest of "both sides"? Goodness, the Chicago mentality of "Nice store you got here, shame if anything were to happen to it" is certainly evident.
While in Iraq, Obama also tried to persuade the US commanders, including Gen. David Petraeus, to suggest a "realistic withdrawal date." They declined. [...]

Iraqi leaders are divided over the US election. Iraqi President Jalal Talabani (whose party is a member of the Socialist International) sees Obama as "a man of the Left" - who, once elected, might change his opposition to Iraq's liberation. Indeed, say Talabani's advisers, a President Obama might be tempted to appropriate the victory that America has already won in Iraq by claiming that his intervention transformed failure into success.

Maliki's advisers have persuaded him that Obama will win - but the prime minister worries about the senator's "political debt to the anti-war lobby" - which is determined to transform Iraq into a disaster to prove that toppling Saddam Hussein was "the biggest strategic blunder in US history."

Other prominent Iraqi leaders, such as Vice President Adel Abdul-Mahdi and Kurdish regional President Massoud Barzani, believe that Sen. John McCain would show "a more realistic approach to Iraqi issues."

Obama has given Iraqis the impression that he doesn't want Iraq to appear anything like a success, let alone a victory, for America.

No! Say it ain't so! Barry putting politics above country? Why ever would anyone think a man who has shown such restraint in not stooping to mocking the disability of someone who can't use a keyboard (what? oh....) would ever start emulating the Jimmy Carter Doctrine of undermining the foreign policy sitting a President of the opposition party? Not like Barry would be the only Democrat who has taken cues from Jimmy.

How does bringing US troops home translate into hating our troops? They will be much better loved when they are out of harm's way - especially when they are on mindless suicide missions as in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Take off your political-speak dark glasses and wake up as the US Empire continues down the road of voluntary self-induced meltdown - did you read the headlines today? While we keep our eyes off the ball borrowing trillions and break the banking system to do our war-mongering in nearly 200 foreign countries now, the economy is in terrible shape. Especially in Iraq and Afghanistan these are fool's errands to try to set up money-making plans for US oil companies and to appease Zionist extremists in Israel. I would choose to give my life for neither cause.

McCain can use a keyboard. His campaign said he's learning. You're an idiot.

Alfred?!?
"How does bringing US troops home translate into hating our troops? "

Are you an idiot or simply choose not to read?

The point is that Obama wanted to DELAY the agreement to withdrawal troops because he did not want Bush to take any credit for it. He wanted to do the withdrawal deal when he himself is elected... and wanted the deal delayed until then.

Do you get it now? Or should the world go a little slower for your sake to catch up?

Whoops. Looks like Taheri confused the Status of Forces Agreement with a Strategic Framework Agreemennt. I guess Taheri, Darleen, and Brian are the idiots, not Alfred.

Josh

You and the Obama campaign obviously can use a computer. Sorry I broke my link, but it's now fixed.

McCain doesn't blog or hang in chat rooms or do FaceBook. Ok.

But can Obama land a jet on an aircraft carrier?

The Obama camp is hysterical so they are going for sexism, ageism and classism. They can't do the arguments, so it's the little kid going "well, you're just just...STUPID."

Keep it up. Older people go to the polls in greater percentages than narcissic young 'uns.

I would hope someone who thinks he can lead the country would have a basic acquaintance with technology that became prevalent a generation ago. The Obama campaign actually is the one talking about the issues, rather than lipstick on pigs and lies about sex ed.

The Palin bubble is fast deflating, McCain can't open his mouth without sticking his foot in it, so your desperation is understandable.

Obama would say or do anything to get elected. If elected, he would bring change all right ... he would change everything that over 200 years of American history and tradition has achieved He would have no allegiance to our country's laws or customs. America would soon become a third world country with a totally weakened ability to defend itself. Since Obama talked his followers into believing and submitting to blind faith, instead of reason, Obama disciples are so emotionally invested in their messiah, that even if truth and facts are presented to them, they simply refuse to believe it. LIke lemmings, they would rather follow Obama off a cliff, than to accept the fact that he has been using them to achieve his personal ambitions. No Wright, no Farrakhan, no Rezko, no Ayers, NOBMAN !!!
