Banning the cupcake ...

The twins turned five a week ago and their mom (#2 daughter) wanted to mark the occassion by baking and taking cupcakes to their kindergarten class.

Nein! Verbotten! Sugar is banned from gradeschool classrooms. Bad Mommy! Bad Mommy!

Still, she wanted to take something as a treat.

I don't know about you, but I say nothing says "Happy Birthday" like little cups of sugar-free Jello!

YuMMmm-MMM.

The school I worked at had a rule against cupcakes, but it was because cupcakes are very difficult for a young child to eat neatly.

Bacon, it tell you. Lots of greasy thick cut bacon. Unless there are lots of Muslims in the class. If so, try pancetta.

Only one "t" in "verboten" by the way.
