A brief conversation between Randi and her more intelligent friend
You just know wherever there is fire, this administration will be out there doing what it does best and that is fanning the flames, you know. It just spooks me, I can’t explain to you how creepy this whole thing is that you know, you’ve got these fires. Some of them are thought to be the work of arsonists and in the same breath you’ve got a community that’s on fire that just recently protested Blackwater West. Just recently said no to Blackwater and apparently you don’t do that. ... it is all so bizarre that this is America and you have to sort of sit there and wonder … arson, same place Blackwater West wants to be ... *
Well, Randi, it's not like arson is really being downplayed. Also consider that both the fires are still burning and police are usually frugal with any details of on-going investigations. That aside, isn't this Bu$HitlerSchwarzeneggerNeoConZionist conspiracy to torch one of the few conservative coastal areas in California run counter to the Bu$HitlerSchwarzeneggerNeoConZionist conspiracy to save those same racist, white Rethuglicans when they let Chocolate City die without warning?
... I THOUGHT YOU WERE MY FRIEND! |

Hey Randi -- the fires are as bad as they are in recent years because of decades of mismanagement. "No... we can't possibly let any of the precious, precious plant life be cut!"
Natural fires clear out shrubbery periodically. When you rush in to put out the small fires, and don't replace that clearing process with cutting, you end up with MASSIVE piles of kindling over hundres of miles. Result: Hugh fires we can't put out.
My mom is an incredible gardener. She has a large natural prairie patch in her yard, (I remember when it was just normal lawn). She lets it grow up, adds a few more native-type plants, and then every couple years she SETS IT ON FIRE. Burns it off.
It's absolutely thriving. In the spring it's full of butterflies and rabbits and the like.
All these environmentalists stumbling around like Frankenstein's monster screaming "Fire Bad!!!" have, as usual, made a big ol' mess of things.
