The embarrassment that is Nancy Pelosi
Pelosi has set back women's rights more in a few brief weeks than any other American in recent memory. How in the world can anyone take seriously a woman as "leader" who runs around with terrorist dictators wearing a headscarf to demonstrate she is "down with" Muslims while ignoring (or is ignorant of) the misogynist dictates that demand that headcovering. She covers her hair to keep the "eminations" from driving local males insane yet wears an above-the-knee skirt ... there may be Hermes on her head but she's clueless about appropriate dress for a 67 y/o grannie who wants to be taken seriously.
Good lord! Coupled with British fecklessness (whatever happened to "name, rank and serial number"?) is America doomed to the slow suicide by Islamism that Euros are embracing?

I know, I think it's scandalous that a high-ranking woman would deign to wear a head-covering just to appease some group of Religious Zealots. How can they?
Oh..wait, those are pictures of our Secretary of State and First lady wearing headscarves in mosques or around other repressive religious types, my mistake. Waiitaminute......

Seems to me you're going a little overboard Mz Darleen.
Members of Congress often visit foreign countries and talk to foreign leaders. And members of Congress in the past have visited and talked with some pretty bad people.
Mrs Pelosi isn't the first and won't be the last.
At least she's making an effort to talk to someone in Syria, which is more than I can say about our current Secretary of State.

Speaker Pelosi attempting to score political points over the dead bodies of US soldiers. She is not authorized to set foreign policy and speak independently. The message sent to despots in the middle east is, wait a bit and when our Democrat party is in the White House we can chat again. In the meantime don't give up the fight against US occupiers. Allah be praised.
