I must admit I've never personally tasted truffles, but I'm intrigued anytime I watch the competing chefs on Iron Chef embelish exotic dishes with them. Traditionally pigs are used to locate these underground fungal masses, but they have to be very carefully watched and restrained least the pig is allowed to destroy the truffle.

Yeah, pretty bad. Obama can expect a lot of the same from the wingnuts if he decides to run for president.
He can take it though.
WHo cares what a person's religion is, as long as he supports and defends the Constitution?

Um, Carl? People sometimes refer to Darleen (and me) as "wingnuts" - as well as the many other "wingnut" bloggers who have laughed at Schlussel's ridiculous rantings. "Wingnuts" don't support this nonsense. Just so ya know. We oppose Obama's politics, just as we oppose others on the left.
Nice try, though.

So where do you stand on Virgil Goode's remarks?

The real damage of Schussel's disatribe is from her giving ammunition to those who will be accusing Obama's critics of being motivated by nothing more than racism.
Obama may or may not play the race card, but his defenders sure as blue blazes will.
