One moslem 'gets it' while some American's dither
LAST week, the luminaries of the British Muslim mainstream — lobbyists, lords and members of Parliament — published an open letter to Prime Minister Tony Blair, telling him that the “debacle” of both Iraq and Lebanon provides “ammunition to extremists who threaten us all.” In increasingly antiwar America, a similar argument is gaining traction: The United States brutalizes Muslims, which in turn foments Islamist terror. While functionally anti-semitic American's blame Israel
But violent jihadists have rarely needed foreign policy grievances to justify their hot heads.
He [Robert Gard] noted that the Bush administration's unabashedly pro-Israel stance during the recent conflict with Hezbollah was an indication that the White House may accede to such assessments.Channel Charles Lindbergh and the America Firsters, eh, Gard?
"This administration is clearly so beholden to Israel that it raises the concern we might go along" with a military strike, Gard said.

You're pushing that Munich analogy too far. We're trying to impose democracy on an area of the world where it is not wanted. At least not in the form we know it.
That's why we're disliked. At least in Iraq.
As to Israel, that nation is seen by many in the Arab world as an American proxy. And as long as the US is Israel's quartermaster/armorer/treasurer, these attitudes will continue.
Nothing to do with anti-Semitism, US and Israeli policies are simply not working.
Even the Israeli's are not happy with the current situation.
