A thought on the Lamont 'victory'

and the fact that Democrats are supporting him and tossing Lieberman aside, with classic Henry Reid WTFism

The perception was that (Lieberman) was too close to George Bush and this was, in many respects, a referendum on the president more than anything else. The results bode well for Democratic victories in November and our efforts to take the country in a new direction.
Trust these people with US national security?

Yeah. Right.

This country deserves two sane and adult political parties. At one time, we all held similar values and goals, even if we disagreed on the proper paths to achieve them. With the Koskiddies, Michael Moore and the Lamont lickspittle reveling in the chance to see the American military humiliated and in chains, I lament the death of the party of FDR and Kennedy.

Thing is, Lamont's victory is about the war / occupation of Iraq, which isn't going very well.

Most Americans are tired of it. That includes people on both sides of the aisle.

Over 2500 KIAs in Iraq and thousands more wounded. For what?

Nothing that I can see. Two religious sects continue to kill each other every day, and, while they're at it, kill as many Americans as possible.

Sniping, IEDs, RPG attacks. It just never ends.

Iraq isn't worth one more American life. It's time to withdraw.

Darleen,
Explain if you will how citizens of the great state of Connecticut were actually voting for terrorist attacks and an Islamofascist theocracy while they were participating in the democractic process last Tuesday. That's what Dick Cheny says. Do you really believe that?

What the fuck is wrong with you?
