The moral authority of Howard Dean

The Scream comments on visiting Iraqi PM Nouri al-Maliki

"The Iraqi prime minister is an anti-Semite," the Democratic leader told a gathering of business leaders in Florida. "We don't need to spend $200 and $300 and $500 billion bringing democracy to Iraq to turn it over to people who believe that Israel doesn't have a right to defend itself and who refuse to condemn Hezbollah."
Well, let's look at some of those al-Maliki remarks, hm?
~We call on the world to take quick stands to stop the Israeli aggression."

~"[Israel's] excessive use of force is to be condemned."

~"What is happening is an operation of mass destruction and mass punishment and an operation using great force that Israel has--and Lebanon does not."

~"While Israel has stated its military objective is to hit Hezbollah's infrastructure and physical strength, it has, in the words of the Lebanese prime minister, torn the country to shreds."

Pretty shocking, right? (h/t Taranto)

Oops. Only quotes 1 and 3 are the PMs. The other two belong to Kofi Annan. You know, the head of the UN, the organization that the US taxpayers support to the tune of one third of the UN's budget annually?

And here's The Scream's condemnation of Kofi's comments:

........
Surprised? Naw. Me neither.
