Not good news
Cheap electronics challenges good parenting. WaPo
One in three children between the age of 6 months and 6 years have a TV set in their bedrooms. And children who have TVs in their bedrooms spend an average 30 minutes more per day watching TV than those who don't.Get those TVs, computers or electronic games OUT OF YOUR CHILD'S ROOM. Their bedroom should be a quiet retreat. Music and books are excellent. TV viewing and computer usage should be in an area where parents can monitor their children's activities ... and limit them.
