BTW an aside to the cowardly co-worker at my office

yesterday, that went whining to the supervisor that you were "uncomfortable" with all the red/white/blue decorations, and that some of us were discussing the "boycott", but you didn't have the balls to say it to my face.

Bite me, asswipe.

Priceless...Darleen, you are the Poster Girl for Wingnuts. You can call this woman an Asswipe here on your cowardly little blog, but clearly you are too much of a fucking wimp to confront your differences face to face. One of the most prominent hallmarks of a true Wingbat: COWARDICE. In all its forms.

href="http://www.darleenclick.com/weblog/archives/2005/11/meet_drew_blog.html" target="_blank">See, you surly little butchy old grandma, if you weren't just using our national colors to provoke and express your hatred (another hallmark of wingnuts is abuse of patriotism, as your Dear Leader did exploiting a national tragedy for partisan political profit), then why didn't YOU address your co worker face to face and explain yourself. Politely...oh, yes, that's probably the problem, not in your bag of tricks. Better to run and hide on your cowardly little blog and abuse her behind her back! Wingnut moral values! Wingnut courage!

What a laughingstock you are. I can see why you need cartoons to express yourself. You really are nothing but a petulant, resentful adolescent in the body of a granny.

gee Dar, I thought the Taliban commenters at my site were bad....

Thats pathetic, anyone complaining about red, white and blue. Some people are really way out there arent they?

Readers please note the drooling troll calls ME cowardly for HAVING a blog, when she doesn't have one herself.

This blog is read by some within my office. So I'm talking less behind this person's back then they did yesterday. I only know the person COMPLAINED anonymously, not who it is (even though I have a good idea).

Jane, yes, showing red/white/blue as a positive demonstration is "hatred"... the anti-American Left such as Hrubec/Snickers above can't STAND it.

Darleen rocks!

I saw quite a lot of red white and blue in the crowds demonstrating yesterday.

Yup, Darleen rocks!

(And, psst, Darleen, print the troll picture for Unfriendly Voice again!)

Oh, I see it's just a passive aggressive kind of thing. Niiiiiice. You are one tough granny there, Darleen.

As for patriotism, I've had my military service mocked and ridiculed on this blog by some of your snarling regulars. Just because you behave like an arrogant bigot and dress yourself up in colors doesn't mean you have a corner on the market of loving America. I come from the American tradition of "Give me liberty or give me death" and "The only thing we have to fear is fear itself." You come from the more modern version of patriotism, which goes something like "Either you're with us or against us" and "Greed is good"....There's all kinds of patriotism, clearly.

And since your poor co worker can read this blog, i would just like to say to her...So Sorry Sister! I only come after her here because she so needs a smackdown, but you actually have to work with the living breathing fleshy rendition of her! You have my profoundest sympathies!

What the "Friendly Voice" is missing in all this is that the co-worker that complained most likely had her/his identity hidden.
Now there's the epitome of bravery.

I'm beginning to think Unfriendly has gone round the bend!

Talk about passive-aggressive. . .

(Please do the picture again, Darleen!)

- Yep Jane, out where the buses don't run, and all the attendents stand around with bedpans waiting for the electroshock machine to charge up for another round, while they make sure the retsraining straps aren't so tight they'll leave marks through the dirt incrusted toes peaking out of her Berkinstocks..... What a picture of love and tolorance....

The problem with liberals' attitude toward red, white, and blue, is like with everything else--assumption. You are proud of the USA? Well that obviuosly means that you hate all other countries. You are proud to be an American? That means you only support white Americans.

These are the same people who don't bat an eye when Mexicans are proud of their Mexican flag, or Brazilians win a world cup and go down the streets of DC celebrating with their flag. Any other flag is acceptable in America, except the American one.
