Jhimmi Carter - how low can he go?

I must confess that Jhimmi (rhymes with 'dhimmi') can still surprise me with how far he is willing to sell out America for his own Sheehanesque agenda

Carter personally called Secretary of State Rice to try to convince her to reverse her U.N. ambassador's position on changes to the U.N. Human Rights Commission, the former president recalled yesterday in a talk in which he also criticized President Bush's Christian bona fides and misstated past American policies on Israel.

Mr. Carter said he made a personal promise to ambassadors from Egypt, Pakistan, and Cuba on the U.N. change issue that was undermined by America's ambassador, John Bolton. "My hope is that when the vote is taken," he told the Council on Foreign Relations, "the other members will outvote the United States."

Who the FUCK does Carter think he is making personal promises on POLICY when he no longer holds any political office?
Asked yesterday about his views on religion, Mr. Carter said, "The essence of my faith is one of peace." In a clear swipe at Mr. Bush's faith, and to a round of applause, he then added, "We worship the prince of peace, not of pre-emptive war." Mr. Carter then went on to attack American Christians who support Israel.

He also reiterated his known view that most of the problems in the Israeli-Arab front derive from Israel's settlement policies and its building of a defensive barrier in what he insisted on calling "Palestine."

Can we call Jhimmi an antisemite now? I think he qualifies.

I loathe that male.

Good for Jimmy! I applaud him.

And if you can't differentiate between critics of Israel and racists who hate Jews, then you're even more simpleminded than I thought, Darleen.

It's really disgusting, how hostile you are to leaders who really strive for peaceful solutions to conflict. Carter did more for Middle East peace than Bush and Bolton ever will.

Brad

It's real simple. If one seriously argues that Israel is the ONE AT FAULT for all the terrorist attacks aimed at it, that Israel is OBLIGATED to unilaterally withdraw to 1949 lines ... that Israel be held to a different standard then any other country... then that person is merely substituting the word "Israel" for "Jew" and they are an antisemite.

Even if they are a former President.

Fuck Jhimmi and all antisemites.

Darleen,
Your conflation of a government's policy with its own people is just as flawed as the conflation that some -- but NOT ALL -- Leftists and Right Wingers like Pat Buchanan or David Duke make. I'm suggesting that Israel be held to the same standards as any other nation: the land that is currently occupied is far beyond what either the U.N. provided in the original design for a Jewish state or the negotiated peace following the '48 war. You can argue that the West Bank was taken in self-defense in '67, but every nation takes land in wars of self defense and then later pulls back. It's the only way to move forward.

You really should read Shlomo Ben-Ami's new book, as your understanding of the situation is apparently based purely on anti-Arab emotions.

What's the fundamental difference between your black and white worldview and the black and white worldview of Hamas? Don't tell me the difference is that you don't espouse violence to achieve freedom, because deep down, in your unwavering support of Likud policies, you most certainly do espouse violence. Did you support the Apartheid regime of South Africa?

Jimmy Carter is far from being an anti-Semite, but you and your idols Michelle Malkin and Daniel Pipes are pretty damn close to being racists.

I gotta commend you on referring to Jhimmi as a male and not a man, there's a big difference that you are apparently aware of too.

"Jews are being murdered in large numbers merely for living on land that a weird, belicose, cultish ideology has declared should be free of all Jews, and I blame them for bringing it on themselves for not voluntarily leaving." That's not anti-semitic at all though, it's anti-Zionist.

It's selective Jew-hating is what it is. Something akin to a klansman trying to claim that he only hates a certain kind of black.

Hey, Brad, are you going to hold Hamas to the Oslo accords?

They have for all intents and purposes abrogated those accords. Now what? will you suggest that Israel actually treat with a democratically elected government that specifically calls for the elimination of Israel?

The only way that'll conclude to the satisfaction of Hamas is if every Israeli either emmigrates or walks into the ocean.
