Pictures from Frisco 'Walk for Life'

Thanks to Zombie, here and here. There are just so many images, so much anger and outright hatred and weirdness it's hard to point to just one. Or even a handful.

Even as a reluctant pro-choicer, I gotta say I have a lot of respect for the majority of pro-lifers who participated. Their self-discipline and self-restraint in the face of frankly whacked-out pro-abortionists was amazing.

Good LORD, pro-choicers! You want to be represented by people who hold signs demanding the death of their political opponents?

Are pro-choice marchers really any more appalling than Pat Robertson or Fred Phelps, or the Tim Lahaye's evangelical revenge fantasies in the Left Behind series? You wanna ignore the hate in Rush Limbaugh's radio broadcasts, in Ann Coulter's columns and in Bill O'Reilly's talk shows while focusing on a few Lefties who have virtually no influence on the public?

Apparently Brad is of the school that anybody who disagrees with me is a hate monger. First of all, Fred Phelps' followers are pretty much limited to his family, he just gets press so people like Brad can invoke his name while forgetting the man is a registered Democrat who supported Gore and Kerry. He is pretty impotent when it comes as far affecting public opinion (unless you count his gross disruptions of military funerals).
Brad also does not see the irony in his talk of hate while ignoring the strange bedfellows kept by Margaret Sanger (you know, the patron "saint" of Planned Parenthood and every other pro-abortion group). She loved the eugenics program of the 3rd Reich and said she felt a certain kinship with the Ku Klux Klan as she started her Negro Project.

When said lefties are calling for the death of their opponents, and repeatedly assault (without provocation) them I think that conduct deserves to be exposed. Let the world see what the carong proponents of abortion are really like.

J. Rob, show me an influential Leftie who is calling for the death of their opponents. Has Cindy Sheehan called for the death of her opponents? Michael Moore? Sean Penn? Al Franken?

Posted by: Brad at January 25, 2006 07:59 AM

Brad

Since Cindy supports the terrorists killing US military troops in Iraq and Afghanistan, would you agree that qualifies?

Posted by: Darleen at January 25, 2006 01:28 PM

Oh, is Sheehan now funnelling money to the insurgents who killed Casey? Wow, where'd you read that-- Front Page Mag?

- I don't know Brad. Maybe, now that Usama is a registered Democrat, you can ask him up close and personal if Sheehans public support has helped him in his quest to assert world wide Wahhabism and kill all Americans. Be interesting to see what you come back with. Maybe even with your head still on your shoulders.

- I've often feel that the real embarrassment to the Liberals is that they only feel safe in all this America/Bush bashing precisely because the President has pretty much kicked ass on the terrorists. Otherwise they'd be afraid to open their mouths.

You confuse celebrity with influence. You applaud the conduct of the people pictured and written about, but I'm supposed to find celebs who agree with it. The issue is not which celeb supports what. It is an issue of people assaulting and threatening a group who did nothing to provoke such conduct. Unless you consider their existance sufficient provocation (which you apparently do)
First of all a supporting person's notariety does not negate the reprehensible conduct described...period. It is as irrelevent as those you mentioned in your first paragraph (Fred Phelps, give me a break). You accuse Rush Limbaugh and Anne Coulter of "spewing hate" when as far as I can tell all they have done is express views contrary to yours. Perhaps that qualfies as "hate" to you. If so, no answer I give will satisfy you. I don't base what I believe on that the latest media darling thinks, you would do well to do likewise.

Brad

Did I say Mommy Sheehan gives money to Michael Moore's terrorists "freedom fighters"? I said her public speeches and writings give approval and support to them.

Posted by: Darleen at January 25, 2006 10:56 PM

. . . And, judging by the latest tape from "Osama", the Islamofacists really are counting on Leftist icons, like Moore and Mommy Sheehan, to turn public opinion against the war.
