And yet no mention of how the Geo. Soros-backed ballot issues in Ohio went down in flames.

"What is it about living in a clean, safe, educated blue state that makes people behave so much more humanely, sanely and with respect for the rights of their fellow Americans?"
They will write something like that but have a hissy if you rightly refer to them as "elitists"

No, JRob, the ELITISTS are the millionaires and billionaires in Republican office, all those guys who skunked out on serving their country when it was their time, who then decided they had the right to LIE to the American people and their representatives to get them into a war without end. They didn't trust Americans enough to be honest with them, because they knew better why their sons and daughters should be sacrificed. That's elitism, buddy. Stop misplacing your anger.

As for loving, admiring, respecting and being proud of my beautiful BLUE part of America - the part of the USA most respectful of original American ideals - sorry, that ain't elitism. Unless loving your family for their talents and goodness is elitism. You've got it pretty screwed up. But then again, if you're a wingnut, I can only assume you LIKE being lied to, led around by the nose by a Big Daddy fearmongering government, and you have no problem with elitist cronyism, corruption, moral hypocrisy and flagrant incompetence. You need a freaking dictionary.

Yes, I did avoid discussing Ohio. (Truth is, the one CA proposal I was rooting for was the redistricting one - sounded fair to me both in CA and OH, but was struck down both places.) I am sad for poor corrupt Ohio where the people really are in the grip of the most corrupt Repubs in the nation. And they are suffering economic hardship there on a level much more severe than most of the rest of America. It's a sorry place to be right now, but it's up to them to change it. They won't be able to do that until they get the stink of Repubs out of their voting machines and practices and until they turn the whole lot of corrupt thieves and hypocrites out of office. I have faith in them, though. America is waking up by leaps and bounds to the destruction they've enabled through buying the lies of the Republican elitists. Ohio will get there. Hell, even Texas will probably get there!

dang, Darleen, who are these weirdos?

Love the phots shop.

Ah, the little leftist of many names is back.

BTW Snick, Dems don't have grassroot, individual support. They are the party of huge big money (see Soros, et al) while Repubs outraise 'em in the singular donations of $2,000 and below.

Fact.

In CA the props were defeated by the far left and monied unions, especially the totalitarian CTA. I'm sorry it happened but it's the same old song...we take a few steps forward and a few steps back. And the old MSM, which pretends its "objectivity" while acting as a wing of the Democratic party, loses more and more viewership.

No wonder Democrats want to control free speech by trying to bring bills to restrict the Internet, bring back "The Fairness Doctrine" and punish individuals through "Campaign finance reform" aka the "Incumbent Protection Act."

Hey, Hrubec/Snick/et al. Any one of your split personalities have the cajones to blog on your own yet?

change "soo" to "too" and chanfe "...to do it..." in the last line to "...to do my thinking..." in the last sentence.

#$!@...this is what I get for trying to write before the 3rd cup of coffee..."chanfe" should be "change"

On a note related to regulating the internet, I have no idea what you are alluding to? Is there a new proposal out there?

Man do I wish there was a way to restrict content or a way to block it effectively. My friend's kid (fifth grade) somehow stumbled onto a woman with a d*ck in three holes and with other dudes standing around w@cking off on her. It was very upsetting to them both, the mother was sitting right next to him, helping with a school assignment. Then there were horrible pop ups for half an hour.

Living in LA is hard enough, with all the grossly suggestive billboards. I HATE THEM!!! I don't want my boys to grow up thinking that's the norm. But what's a mom to do.
