Nominee Judge Alito - smacking gnats

I don't mind listening to agruments against Alito. But I haven't heard one yet that doesn't depend on lying about Alito's judicial decisions. Substance, people!

If you haven't been reading Patterico lately, don't miss his excellent posts on Alito's decisions dealing with spousal notification and FMLA. A must read!

- I'm not even going to follow the usual "great full court Liberal MSM big lie press" on this one. The left simply has no viable bullets left in their partisan pistolla's, and they know it, so panic will be the order of the day, as well as an endless public screeching disemble. I sat an watched Babs Boxer stand in front of the camera's and aver that "[It] doesn't matter what the Democrates or Congress said... the War lays at the doorstep of the administration". Just a week ago she was screeming that the no one is paying any attention to the Democratic minority trying to get to the bottom of Plamegate. Apparently what Democrates say only matters if it supports whatever mind-dead "cause" they're pursuing at the moment. Do these people have any shame any more.

Alito is OK. Seems a pretty good middle-of-the-roader. No sense in opposing him.

My suspicion is that he has nothing but contempt for the far right. But he'll keep that quiet.

Time to get on to other things, like this meaningless slaughter/occupation going on in Iraq.

With any degree of luck, the Iraq war will decimate the neocons. Which is something worth fighting for....

Carl? You are wanting the United States to LOSE in Iraq? You want democracy to FAIL?

Cuz you have a hard-on about "far rightwingers"?

What.The.Fuck?

Democracy's fine. Imposing it at the point of an M1A1 or Cobra gunship isn't.

Which is why the Democrats ought not to waste a lot of time and energy opposing Alito.

He isn't worth it.

Democracy's fine. Imposing it at the point of an M1A1 or Cobra gunship isn't.

So I guess imposing it at the end of a musket was wrong? Or Sherman tanks?

And suppressing it at the end of gas chambers, rape rooms and industrial shredders is just peachy keen?

Lordy.
