Barbara Boxer? M'am, please refresh my memory,

when were the Senate hearings held when American oil companies were losing money?

Darleen, republicans supported the hearings too. Why are so far to the right?

And why should we have to pay for their new refineries? I mean you got billionaires here and all they have to do is not build more refineries to make the price of gas go up! So we have to buy these billionaires new refineries? Please...

What are you babbling?

Republicans control ALL hearings in Congress. Darleen is either an ass, or more typically, a completely disingenuous cynic. She MUST know that NO hearings can be called without Pubs calling for them and ONLY Pubs even have subpeona power. (Yeah, scratch around a litttle and you find our "democracy" is indeed quite flawed.)

So why these hearings? Why now? Because the entire Pub agenda is based on HIDING their true purpose from the gullible goofballs they've suckered in with homophobia, racism, pandering to religious chauvinism, etc. The true Pub agenda - now and always - is to give lots of socialist welfare ...to the RICH. But there aren't enough rich people to keep Pubs in power, which they understand. Ergo, this kind of pandering - since they know their base is angry about high gas prices, they hold a sham hearing to pretend they give a crap about it. But no worries. No oil men were put under oath (why the hell not?) and nothing will come of it.

When you're getting KILLED in the polls, when people saying we need a Democratic Congress hhold a 19% lead and when most Americans now say they'd like to change their Congresspersn next election...the Pub elitists are wetting their panties. Ergo, fake hearings. Ergo, darleeny-types bashing Barbara Boxer. Makes sense? It's not supposed to.

Snick,

While most often I agree with your point of view, your method for expressing it and your attacks on Darleen diminish you and any point you are trying to make. If you cannot argue with thoughtful reason and without personal attacks don't bother.

Mieke

Hrubec/Snick is a far-left anti-democracy troll without the cajones to blog on its own. I let it drool here because it clearly demonstrates the moral bankruptcy of the far left.

It is exactly the far left policies that contributed to France's riots by Islamists demanding the French police "out of occupied territories".

The same Euroweenie policies that Kerry wants for the US.

Mieke, I think Snick is just mad as hell and isn’t going to take it anymore.

You do have a point though. Snick, your comments would be taken more seriously if your rhetoric was toned down a notch. On the other hand, based upon Darleen's response to me above, Darleen doesn't want to respond to honest debate on this topic no matter what is said or how respectfully it is explained to her.

It may seem harsh, Mieke, but ...um, have you noticed the tone this darleen chick uses? Have you ever read a more snarling, butchy attack on our free, open society than her incessant screeds calling her fellow Americans "leftard jihadists" for differing with her (whoever the hell she is) opinions?

Yes, I know, you can read it all over wingnut media. Bill O'Reilly after all thinks Al Queda should invade San Francisco (like to know how they'd do that, maybe Bill the great patriot can help them). So, yeah, she comes from a long line of whackers. But it's important they get the smackdown as often as possible - we can't afford to let such confrontational, aggressive, morally hypocritical, unAmerican voices go uncontested. Like all bullies, she's a coward. Cannot answer a substantial point. Insults and hides. Typical, but always fun.

Of course this is just an insignificant blog that none but Darleen's "cotillion" (wtf? LOL) buddiees read. But it's good practice for when you meet these creeps in real life.
