Kiss my ass

Some little fucking leftard jihadist left this comment in the previous post

This hurricane has exposed every single flaw of the conservative dream for a Darwinian paradise. It is the end of conservatism in America as we know it.
It's such a pile of poo it's almost a non-sequitor. Conservative dream for a Darwinian paradise? Whaa? The more I stare at the line the deeper I find the meaning of the commenter's own pathology.

Obviously, he didn't get the memo that Conservatives don't go for Darwin. end of conservativism in America as we know it -- end of conservatism as we know it, or end of America as we know it? Lefty jihadists can't quite figure that out. They've always had a 'socialist' dream for America quite at odds with basic American values and the individualism (which cannot exist without property rights) embodied in the Constitution and that used to be part of a classical liberal Democratic party found now mostly in the Republican party. 'Course the jihad-against-all-people-not-leftists element has been the most vocal of the Dems for a while... why else would Howard Dean be chair?

Amazing how ironically challenged are such people who ostensibly make a big deal about "diversity" as long as it deals with any demographic/trait except IDEAS. Ooohoo... don't be ideologically pure and off with your head!.

Kinda like Darwin, eh?

I'd like to point out that New Orleans is a huge failure of LOCAL leadership.

So, Bush is down there now ... looks like he's taking charge, which is a good thing, since Mayor Nagin, and Gov. Blanco are clueless.

Did I mention that both the good mayor and the fearless governor are Democrats ... ?

My God FrauBudgie,
That thinking is so ignorant-- and politically motivated, I might add. I thought this wasn't a time for political mudslinging, and I admit I've done my fair share-- but does that justify you slinging back and blaming local authorities for a catastrophe which clearly was beyond the scope of anything the city of N.O. has dealt with before? This is what FEMA is for. God forbid we get hit by terrorists anytime soon because clearly DHS and FEMA are not prepared to cope with any large scale urban event.

And you want to blame Democrats?

God, you wingers have some nasty fucking bitches writing your blogs, but this butch Darleen takes the cake.

This is my new number one recommended blog for all religious Republican voters. They need to see this.

Leftard jihadists? This woman (?) is a raving lunatic!

Darleen says: Hello, Hrubec/Etienne/Anon, and how are you today? I find it amusing that it is LEFTIST's who resort to the gay-slur when riled. Just more proof that LEFTISTS think in "groups" not individuals so have no problem making racist/classist/gender/sexual orientation slurs when they feel like it. Your ostensible Catholism is a figleaf for your true religion ... Leftism. Please post more.

- Darleen. against the backdrop of vicious partisan screetch you will now hear to the rafters from the small, but loud obnoxious cadres of the extreme left, I have to in all honesty say the following.

It is encouraging to see the other countries that have offered help come on board, although there seems to be a reticence on the part of certain US cabinet heads to accept it. I actually can understand the logistics of coordinating that type of aide.

I have to say even alluding to the storm as somehow Bushes fault is simply the typical leftwing specious bullshit. Everyone knows that and they will be duly ignored as usual. Unfortunately thats not the point.

The point is Bush didn’t do his job. Maybe it wouldn’t have made all that much difference, maybe no one will ever know. But He didn’t even try. A proper sense of Urgency, immediate Marshall law and military intervention, and decisive leadership was the minimum called for. Instead He waited two days and then made a speech.

So this is one time I’m not going to defend him against the oppotunistic yammering of the left. The politics do not matter. Lives are what matter. Human lives were, and still are at stake.

From the very beggining no one in Washington, nor apparently even the state leadership itself, had the right sense of urgency. That has been painfully obvious in just watching whats been going on for 5 days. Bush had a chance to get on top of the situation and make a win out of it, as much as you can ever make, or want to make, a win out of a tragic event. But he did not. He made a speech. If most Amricans could see all this clearly as it unfolded days ago, why couldn't he and his administration. Where were his advisors. There are moments in time for every politician, and what they do, and how they sieze the moment, records their level of leadership and effectiveness. Bush has come up wanting, in a tragedy that rivals 911. I'm not going to micro-analyze the reasons. Thats for others to do. What I'll say is he's going to be sliced up badly over this and I can't say I feel any desire to defend him this time.

As a matter of practicality, I wonder how many levies the billions that congress approved last night for the cleanup, would have bought, and as a result how many lives may have been spared.

Thats not monday morning quarterbacking. Are we forever as a people doomed to make these kinds of mistakes in common sense and judgement. The left shouldn't be crowing to much about the lack of funding for the needed levies. It stretches back through both of Clinton's administrations as well.

Right or left, whatever your politics, a lot of people out there have to be wondering if there’s anyone in Washington who knows how to run this country.
