Trivia
On our journey down the California coast, we stayed in the town of Cambria and visited Hearst Castle. Of the rooms we visited on the tour was the magnificent dining room of Casa Grande. Actually it was more a dining hall. Does it look slightly familiar to you?
Our tour guide told us that before the first Harry Potter movie was filmed, members of the team spent many a day in the dining hall and used it was inspiration for the Hogwarts Dining hall.
The whole site is, indeed, enchanted. I'd highly recommend putting into anyone's California travel plans.
