Tancredo opens mouth, inserts another foot

Hugh Hewitt has the full story here.

Sheesh, and Tancredo sooooo "got it" on illegal immigration.

Any idea why Fox News isn't giving this the wall to wall coverage they gave the Durbin flap? It's so odd since they're so fair and balanced and all that. I guess it's cause Tancredo's comment couldn't possibly be used for any propaganda purposes in the Arab world, right? But he had it right on the immigration thing. I'm sure there's not a racist bone in his body, and it's all just a big coincidence that he regards mass murder of civilians as a viable US foreign policy.

Another interesting point is that this Tancredo moron probably represents a more mainstream Republican viewpoint than you'd like to admit.

Check this out. It's about possible future retaliation to another 9/11 style attack, as developed by the Pentagon, under Cheney's orders and reported in Pat Buchanan's American Spectator. I especially like this part: "As in the case of Iraq, the response is not conditional on Iran actually being involved in the act of terrorism directed against the United States."

So maybe we shouldn't be giving Tancredo such a hard time after all. He's just more honest than most wingers.
