Sheesh! Want some cheese with that whine?

Kerry supporters on Nov 3, 2004Bill at INDC Journal posts the incredible statements of Dan Rather. Notice Dan has no clue that he may have anything to do with the disgust of the electorate with CBS's incredible partisan machine.

From the Corner on Tom Brokaw

Brokaw just said, after carefully explaining the Kedwards position, that "The President and his people feel as though they have won, fairly this time...."

Ok.. I gotta get to work. I'll add to this sourgrapes post throughout the day.

UPDATE At a little after 9 am this morning, I wandered past the breakroom and heard Chris Matthews and Katie Couric talking. Katie looked like she had sucked on a whole bucket of lemons. Chris was fishing around looking for a reason why GW won ... heaven's how can over half the United States reject someone so reasonable as Kerry?? Chris offered it was because of CULTURAL VALUES [cue sound of horses screaming] ... best I can paraphrase

I really think this is like India and Pakistan. We have two countries here.

Chris, you ass, you have no idea what the f**k you're talking about.

Just got done watching John Edward's speech on C-SPAN.... OMG, I just realized how much Edwards looks like Damien Thorne on "Omen-- The Final Conflict." Man, he and Sam Neill are dead-ringers! LOL Thank God President Bush won... 4 more years!!! Now if only Kerry and the MSM would get what they REALLY deserve...!!! Thanks Darleen, I've really enjoyed reading your blog!

Go check out CBSNews.com and there is a story about a Soldier who was badly injured during a training exercise at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. The story, while I truly feel for the Soldier in question, makes it sound like horrible things are happening at the prison there in Cuba. CBS is running the story tonight at 8PM. Just another way for the MSM (especially CBS) to undermine the President and the war in Iraq. They either planned to run this the day after the election in the event of a Kerry victory to show how badly the war is going, or as a cheap parting shot to hurt the President if he wins the election. Grrrrrrr.....

SFC Thomas

I'm glad you have enjoyed this blog and I hope you'll keep reading even as the election is over. This is really a labor of love for me, I've always enjoyed writing and the medium of a weblog is a wonderful vehicle.

I did track down that story. Can we say "sensational"? And it's just a teaser for the show.

I suspect you're correct. I haven't trusted CBS for a quite a while and I don't trust their motivations in this story.

Well, I watched the 60 minutes show, and at first, I thought, "Hey, maybe they are trying to help this Soldier get justice for being hurt...." But then I saw the real reason... They tried to get him to admit detainees were being brutalized at Guantanamo Bay. They tried a few times, as a matter of fact. The show shifted from what happened to him, to speculation about the same thing happening to detainees. They never intended to air the show to help him at all. In the end, it was just a cheap shot at the President. Will they never stop trying to undermine Dubya's efforts to fight the GWoT? It makes me sick...
